All shipments of hogs require the presence of a Canadian Livestock Transport (CLT) or Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) certified handler.
Drivers should be prepared to produce the required certification upon request.

If you deliver your own hogs directly to a Plant it is necessary to book in your volumes in advance with the Marketing Terminal in your area. If you are using a commercial assembler or trucker, call them and they may book the delivery on your behalf.
All documentation required for shipment, and required by the buyer of your animals, must be completed prior to, or upon arrival at a plant. If you are unsure of the documentation requirements for you delivery, contact us.
